Yes, Tourism Industry can be rebuilt if proper action is taken
To restore the tourism sector and provide a rich experience to tourists, there is a need to explore and plan such as sustainable development of the tourism industry. The tourism industry has the potential to be a driver of social, economic, and environmental well-being, if it is planned and handled effectively, as it should be. But the lack of proper political and economic system in Sri Lanka has also hampered the country’s expected development as well as high-income avenues such as tourism. A combination of the right policies, infrastructure development, and effective marketing campaigns can help the country leverage the economic prospects of the tourism industry post the pandemic. Massive Sustainable projects like Port City Investment can have a positive impact on the Tourism Industry and the Tourism Stakeholders.
